Introducing Di AI, My ADHD Business Coach Digital Clone
A Tool Built for—and With—Community
Di AI isn't trendy tech for its own sake; it's an attempt to solve real, persistent challenges for ADHD entrepreneurs seeking accessible ADHD business coaching. It's now launching in beta, free to use in exchange for honest feedback. I want my community to kick the tires and tell me if this new tool actually serves their needs.
Rethinking Support for ADHD Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurship is challenging for anyone, but when you add ADHD into the mix, traditional coaching can struggle to meet your needs. In my experience, ADHD entrepreneurs are often "stubbornly self-sufficient," slow to seek support, and when we're ready for it, we want it immediately—not scheduled next Thursday at 2:00 PM.
Developing effective leadership communication skills requires accessible guidance, but coaching containers are structurally limited, especially when our most urgent questions and spirals rarely check the calendar.
This reality is what prompted me to think outside the box: "The question hits when it hits. The spiral starts when it starts, and your coach, as good as he or she is, is not available 24/7, nor should they be. But the need doesn't care about that."
From Dolly the Sheep to Di AI: The Long Road to a Digital Clone
The inspiration for Di AI began in 1996, the year Dolly the sheep brought cloning technology into public consciousness. I share my initial, playful ambition: what if I could clone myself to do all the things my ambitious, idea-fueled ADHD brain wanted? At the time, it was a daydream—but the longing for a digital clone that could anticipate and respond to real-time needs lingered for decades.
With the advent of sophisticated AI platforms like CoachVox, I finally found a way to make cloning (sort of) practical—but not in the sci-fi, parallel-life sense. Instead, I envisioned a digital clone as an extension of my coaching brain—a tool that could give my clients and community strategic feedback, decision support, and a slice of my candid, experienced business perspective any time, day or night.
Why Di AI Isn't Just "A Chatbot for Coaching"
A key point I stress is what Di AI is not. This isn't a therapy bot, nor a generic AI tool dressed up with ADHD buzzwords. Di AI is built from the ground up using my own frameworks, podcast content, and unique approach to entrepreneurship with an ADHD lens—representing years of experience as an ADHD entrepreneur coach distilled into accessible guidance.
As I put it, "It's the GPS—I am still the human in the car. Both have value. Neither replaces the other." Like a GPS, Di AI can be there for you at 2:00 AM without judgment, recalculating your route when you take a wrong turn. But only a real human can notice when you've been gripping the steering wheel for 200 miles and need a break.
The Reality of AI for ADHD Brains
I approach AI with a blend of curiosity and healthy skepticism, especially when it comes to neurodivergent entrepreneurs. I acknowledge the legitimate concerns about authenticity, data privacy, and the risk of turning coaching into just another generic digital service. But I point out that when AI is fine-tuned with intentionality and care—trained on a coach's real voice, values, and frameworks—it can become a genuinely useful extension of human ADHD business coaching.
Training Di AI required more than technical know-how. It demanded self-reflection and a willingness to test (and retest) whether the AI truly represented my distinctive, direct, swearing-optional, anti-generic advice-giving style. And yes, that iterative fine-tuning required an exercise in patience—something even I admit is not in surplus for many with ADHD.
Using Di AI: What It Can and Can't Do
Di AI is designed for those moments coaching schedules miss: when you need to bounce a pricing dilemma off someone, consider whether to fire a draining client, or unpack feedback that's set off your rejection sensitivity. It's available at your pace, whenever you need a thought partner to help develop your leadership communication skills.
But I'm clear about its boundaries. Di AI is not for mental health crises (call 988 for any thoughts of self-harm or suicide), nor is it a substitute for legal, medical, or financial advice. And like any AI, it can "hallucinate"—produce plausible but incorrect information. Treat it as a thought partner, not an oracle.
The Bottom Line: A Tool Built for—and With—Community
Di AI isn't trendy tech for its own sake; it's an attempt to solve real, persistent challenges for ADHD entrepreneurs seeking accessible ADHD business coaching. It's now launching in beta, free to use in exchange for honest feedback. I want my community to kick the tires and tell me if this new tool actually serves their needs.
If you're craving the kind of strategic, ADHD-savvy business thinking that doesn't wait for the next appointment—and you want to help shape the future of coaching for brains like yours—Di AI might just be the innovative extension you've been dreaming of.
