The Transformational Power of a Therapeutic Business Coach with Traci De Forge

Traci DeForge, a visionary entrepreneur and podcast industry trailblazer, joins me on the podcast to discuss the advantages of working with a business coach who has a therapeutic background. Traci, the founder of Produce Your Podcast, has built a successful podcast production and marketing agency by leveraging her creativity, business acumen, and ability to connect with like-minded individuals.

When Traci decided it was time to hire a business coach, she expected to gain clarity on how to grow and improve her company, but she specifically chose to work with a coach who had a background as a licensed psychotherapist because her other goal was to break the patterns of self-sacrifice that were holding her back. This decision meant both the business and the business owner were about to be transformed.

From Visionary to Implementer: Jancina Dyer's Identity Transformation

After a lifetime of conforming to the expectations of others and having her creative ideas dismissed because she was "just the assistant," Jancina Dyer refused to give up on her big vision and embarked on an entrepreneurial journey of self-discovery and success.

What I love most about Jan’s story is that she is a true visionary but did not believe she could execute her brilliant ideas.  She bought course after course, took program after program, and even hired more than one coach, before deciding to work with me.  Even though she had felt stuck for years, she never gave up on her big vision and in just 12 weeks, the progress she made was absolutely transformational.

Marketing Your Genius: A Client Success Story with Meredith Ferguson

Today’s guest is client Meredith Ferguson, who decided to work with me because she had two fledging businesses and neither of them was profitable.  She had a lot of natural talent but no systems and no boundaries.  She wanted a legitimate business but was literally giving her work away and because she wasn’t taking herself seriously as a business owner, no one else did either.

We worked together for several months in my 1:1 coaching program creating boundaries, eliminating bartering, and being a beck-and-call-girl for everyone who needed help with their website but weren’t paying for it.  Getting rid of the “freeples” (people who want what you’ve got and expect to get it for nothing) and learning to value her time and skill were some of Meredith’s biggest Boss Up moves during our work together.

Embracing Creativity: A Client Success Story Episode With Lauren Hirsch

I love working with creatives and today’s guest, my client Lauren Hirsch was one of my favorites.  Lauren decided to work with me after interviewing several other coaches and even having the first session with one of them.  She had just been diagnosed with ADHD and was struggling to find direction in her career,  create consistent habits, and feel more confident and intentional.

We worked together for 12 weeks in my 1:1 coaching program, from November - to February.  What you will hear in this Client Success Story interview, which was recorded almost four months after we finished working together, is that Lauren thriving in her new job and apartment, but the work we did together is so evident in the way she sees herself, the way she makes decisions, and most of all, her identity as a creative.

Client Success Story with Coach Pam Peterson

I just love inviting someone I have worked with to join me on the podcast for a Client Success Story episode.   As you will hear in the preview to this one,  I do not interview my clients during or immediately after we have completed my 12 week coaching program, when the bond is strong and they are flying high on how much we have accomplished together.

In this convo, you will meet my client Pam Peterson, who is a health and wellness coach, specializing in working with women with chronic pain in a mind-body-brain framework.  Pam has a masters degree, a bunch of certifications and has learned what actually works for chronic pain, because she has been living with it for years.

Client Success Story: Meet Danielle

I don’t often get to work with clients at the very beginning of their entrepreneurial journey, and it is very exciting when I do.  When I heard from Danielle Meitiv she was just a few months into her business and even though she is a woman in her 50’s she built an audience of over 150k people in just a few months in a place you wouldn’t expect to find her, TikTok.

Today’s guest and Client Success Story had already been successful in a previous career when she decided to start helping other people heal from thyroid issues.

Client Success Story: Meet Kris

This week’s Client Success Story episode features Kris Zarnoch who is a podcast editor and producer, wife, and mom of a special needs son. Kris hired me to help her with productivity challenges related to being a creative freelancer, who was working from home, during the pandemic.  She struggled with setting boundaries and establishing the value of her work.

During our work together, Kris learned how to say no & leverage her time by hitting the pause button before answering when asked for help and knowing you can revoke your ‘yes’ at any time. Better boundaries = a better business.

Client Success Story: Meet Tanya

One of my favorite things about Client Success Story episodes is that I get to reconnect with some of my favorite people.  Today we are joined by Tanya, a project manager, wife and mom who had already burned out once and was on the fast track to a second round. When she first decided to work with me, after hearing me being interviewed on a podcast, Tanya was feeling overwhelmed, defeated by her own mindset and had lost confidence in her ability to manage her responsibilities at work and at home. Since then, Tanya has made some really significant changes during our work together, embracing radical self acceptance, letting go of apology, guilt & shame and finally becoming the best version of herself as Tanya 2.0!

Client Success Story: Emily Rapp Black

This episode is a very exciting Client Success Story, featuring Emily Rapp Black, a college professor of creative writing,  NY Times best selling author with four published memoirs including her latest, Frida Kahlo and My Left Leg.

When it comes to business, many of Emily’s challenges were related to boundaries, settling limits and charging for the tremendous value she brings to her collaborative writing clients.  Emily knew she was saying “yes” to too many kinds of projects which limited her income and time for her most important goals, like taking a month off every summer to work on her own writing projects.
